It was a pleasure working with Tom and the Violet Frog team. In addition to mold remediation, Tom specializes in leak detection and was very responsive and willing to answer my many questions thought the process. Used them on a smaller issue in one place and now using them again for another larger issue at a different location. Both times the team has been able to come out quickly and do initial tests. The turn around from the lab for the mold and toxin tests is about 2 days which provides you with a pretty good picture of the situation very quickly. On the first job they were also able to scheduled the remediation almost immediately after the lab tests came back and I imagine this will also be true for the second job.

His crew was incredibly efficient and left the house cleaner than the way they found it! If there were to be a silver lining to the mess of a home buying situation we found ourselves in it would be finding these guys. I was fixing up my mom's house before purchasing it and had to deal with flooding and mold in the basement. I reached out to a few Mold Remediation places, but Tom won me over with his professionalism, thoroughness, and fantastic customer service. He actually walked around the house first to identify issues where water may penetrate the basement. He took photos and the report he ended up giving me was extremely thorough. If you have mold, you want somebody who is going to make sure it's done right. I was very happy with the results. They came on time. They communicated well. And the results speak for themselves. I felt like the air in the house was amazing. Before I had to wear a mask to go inside. The price was very fair and I couldn't recommend Tom and his team more.

The Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP) is specifically for labs identifying microorganisms commonly detected in air, fluids, and bulk samples during indoor quality studies.

Why Participate in EMLAP?
When a laboratory is accredited by AIHA LAP, the laboratory and its clients have the assurance that the laboratory has met defined standards for performance based on examination of a variety of criteria. When a laboratory is accredited by AIHA LAP, it becomes part of an elite group of laboratories achieving and maintaining a high level of professional performance.

NATIONAL VOLUNTARY LABORATORY ACCREDITATION PROGRAM (NVLAP)
The National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) provides third-party accreditation to testing and calibration laboratories in response to legislative actions or requests from government agencies or private-sector organizations. NVLAP-accredited laboratories are assessed against the management and technical requirements published in the International Standard, ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC, CPSC, or commission) is an independent agency of the United States government. The CPSC seeks to promote the safety of consumer products by addressing “unreasonable risks” of injury (through coordinating recalls, evaluating products that are the subject of consumer complaints or industry reports, etc.); developing uniform safety standards (some mandatory, some through a voluntary standards process); and conducting research into product-related illness and injury. In part due to its small size, the CPSC attempts to coordinate with outside parties—including companies and consumer advocates—to leverage resources and expertise to achieve outcomes that advance consumer safety. The agency was created in 1972 through the Consumer Product Safety Act. The agency reports to Congress and the President; it is not part of any other department or agency in the federal government. The CPSC has five commissioners, who are nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate for staggered seven-year terms. Historically, the commission was often run by three commissioners or fewer. Since 2009, however, the agency has generally been led by five commissioners, one of whom serves as chairman. The commissioners set policy for the CPSC. The CPSC is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland.

The Environmental Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELLAP) accredits laboratories performing analysis of lead in environmental samples including paint, soil, dust wipes, composited wipes, and air.

The Environmental Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program is for laboratories involved with the analysis of lead in environmental samples. The EPA estimates that somewhere between 300 and 3,000 accredited laboratories will be needed to perform analyses related to lead-based paint and matrices contaminated with lead-based paint. ELLAP meets the EPA requirements for recognition of laboratories as capable of analysis of paint film, soil, and/or dust wipes.

The Industrial Hygiene Laboratory Accreditation Program (IHLAP), has been accrediting labs for more than 40 years.

The Industrial Hygiene Laboratory Accreditation Program is designed specifically for laboratories involved in analyzing samples to evaluate workplace exposure. Participation assists the laboratory in maintaining high-quality standards.
